Henk Hansen

Occupation: Petty Officer, Clovis Concord Navy
Status: Missing

Henk Hansen wasn’t the kind of man who chased rank or medals—he just wanted to do his job, and do it right. A career sailor aboard the Clovis Concord’s vessels, he served as a boatswain’s mate on several patrol ships, most recently the Silver Kite. Whether it was rigging sails in a storm or scrubbing decks until they shone, Henk did it with the quiet pride of someone who knew his work mattered.

He was part of the naval forces deployed during the assault on Darktow Isle, where he earned the respect of his crewmates for holding the line during the chaos of the failed southern assault. When a powder magazine caught fire on a nearby ship, Henk reportedly dove into the sea and pulled two sailors from the burning wreckage—an act he never bragged about, though others often did on his behalf.

Henk was known across the fleet not for flash or ferocity, but for consistency. He kept his uniform clean, his blade sharper than regulation, and his boots polished to a shine. He was the kind of man who’d wake up early just to brew strong coffee for the night shift. A few jokingly called him “Ship Dad,” because he checked on everyone else before ever thinking about himself.

Off-duty, Henk lived in Nicodranas with his beloved wife Mira, a seamstress, and their two children, Jasper (8) and Lyra (6). He’d spend shore leave fixing the leaky roof, taking the kids to the harbor for sea-shell hunts, or helping Mira run deliveries around the city. He wrote them letters from every port—even if it was just a few lines about what the clouds looked like that day.

Then, one night, after having a quiet drink with old shipmates at The Drunken Sailor, Henk disappeared.

No signs of struggle. No messages left behind. His bunk on the ship remained neatly made, his boots by the door. The navy says they’re looking into it. Mira believes he was taken. His crewmates feel it in their guts—something isn’t right.

The kind of man Henk Hansen was… he wouldn’t just walk away.
